First exhibited as part of Paris-Scope / Projective City at Mixed Greens Gallery (New York) , these topographical forms are part of an ongoing series inspired by early 19th Century landscape painting and photography.  Each cross-section references the location data within a specific scene of  a painting or early photograph.  Highly complex geospatial data is extracted from geological databases and reduced into low polygonal forms.  Once the forms are visualized they are the rendered into chromogenic color prints (c-prints), sandstone sculpture, and /or animated projections.
